Before I went OSX I always used TinyXP for Windows, it was a great stripped down version of Windows XP with nothing but the bare minimum of what you need to get up and running. It was also up to date with all required updates.

I know this would be harder to do on OSX due to the nature of its driver support, but i'm sure we could still do something like this - even if there was build for each hardware type (Intel and Non-Intel)

I just think it would be nice to have an installer that only used what was needed to get OSX up and running, no extra printer drivers, no extra software - just OSX and then let the user take it from there.

I don't know maybe this is not needed !?
