chris7519 Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 I have a Retail install working well, except I can only restart and shutdown afterwards but enjoy sound, or have no sound but the ability to shutdown and restart (I'll worry about sleep later!). I use kext helper to install HDAEnabler and AppleHDA, as well as openhaltrestart.kext. I've searched through the forum and see many others with similar problems but no fixes that work for me. Any suggestions??? System: CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7950 Video: Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT (10DE:0649) Chipset: Intel ICH9 Network: Realtek 8186C/8111C (10EC:8186) Sound: Intel IDT HDA (111D:76B2, 8086:293E) Wireless: Intel Wifi 5100 Card Reader: JMB 38x Controller Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
