whitedragon551
I am interested in running Mac on my laptop. The laptop specs are as follows: Asus M50SV-A1 3Gbs RAM 250Gb Seagate Momentus 5400.4RPM HD 8Mb cache Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5Ghz CPU 6Mb cache 15.4" 1440x900 LCD display Realtek HD Audio Fingerprint scanner webcam mic and Vista Ultimate x64 Im pretty sure it can handle it fine. Im stuck between running the latest Mac in a dual boot with Vista or dual booting with Fedora C10 or Ubuntu. I havent used a Mac in 5 years or so. If I do go with Mac were do I acquire the latest version. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/162430-interested-in-mac/ Share on other sites
matmatoo
I would recommend you BUY a legal copy of leopard, it takes a little longer to patch, (with my leopard 10.5.6 version I had to download kexts/patches for sound, keyboard, graphics card and internet before it worked), it enables you to update leopard and enables full use of leopard, where as kaylaway are limited versions of leopard. Just a thought. Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/162430-interested-in-mac/#findComment-1134987 Share on other sites
whitedragon551
Ill buy it after it works. Before I go drop money on another OS that I havent used first I want to test it out and make sure its something I will use.
