Giammy
Hi to all In my previous topic, i had some problems installing the iPC 10.5.6 release, 'cause i had the famous "waiting for root device" error... I resolved, for who is interested, by choosing 2 chipset driver instead of only one, in particular i took the nforce ata and the sis/mb/etc. chipset drivers! I repeat my PC specs: Mainboard: Asus Salmon 1.04 Chipsets: SiS760, SiS964(Southbridge) An IDE Maxtor 200GB HD NVidia GeForce FX 5500 256MB AGP Now the problem... Audio, ethernet, all works, but i have terrible graphic problems when scrolling webpages, lists, windows, etc. etc. I tried with installing Natit and NVinject. With both, when i install a video kext, during the boot instead of successfully boot with the fixed AppleVIAATA.kext, it loads the GenericPCATA or something similar, and it stucks with the "waiting for root device" error If i boot from my Kalyway 10.5.2, in which i had installed Natit and i have QE/QI working and i can also change the display resolution, and i delete the video kext (natit, nvinject) from the iPC installation, it restarts to work. I reinstall a video driver, it loads pcgenericata, waiting device error. I delete the video driver, it loads viaata kext, working. I see no bonds between the video driver and the chipset driver, what can i do?
