Xanix Posted April 28, 2006 Share Posted April 28, 2006 Hello. I have finelly installed mac os x on my pc. I tryed to use the "bless" command to make a backup of my hard drive. Mac os can't find it and I can't find it too on dvd. Bad burn or is it missing on the dvd? If so, does anyone have it? senze Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 SO if you've begun with 10.4.4-5 and can't find ti then it's on 10.4.1. to make things work I had to install 10.4.1 then upgrade to 10.4.4/5 then upgrade to 10.4.6 I had issue with bless (even if I do have it) If you're disk is not blessed, then in my point of view, you'll be stuck as even if (as I said) I do have the bless command it never 'worked'. I've tried days and days (and night with no success at all. THE ONLY WAY WAS TO COMPLETELY ERASE THE DISK (only with 10.4.1 install disk) THEN INSTALL 10.4.1, UPDATE TO 10.4.4/5 THEN UPDATE WITH 10.4.6. When I did this all was fine. Now it's working like a charm. by the way I talking of an IBM T43 here.
