Borrowing the thread for a while... what files do I have to change to get a 4830 working? I get the same problem as you did when installing the 48X0 drivers, the drivers install but only software mode is active, no CI or QE.

What is the procedure to enable hardware acceleration? I'm a noob at this so I would need some advice, what apps to use, what files to edit etc.

Just a note, I have a 4870x2 and only have 1gig working on it according to Sys Profiler... and by the looks of the screens above, so does everyone else. So, does anyone know if prehaps sys profiler is wrong, or if not how to get the full 2gigs working?

Any help, much appreciated!!!

Just a quick note, I read on another forum, that the 4870x2 has a special internal version of crossfire, which enables the 2nd half of the card as necessary.

I had a question about where to find the drivers, since all the rapidshare links are dead. Can anyone post them?
