kennydied23
I've been trying to get tapping on my Synaptics Touchpad, and have seen people talk about changing things in the mouse tab in the Keyboard and Mouse pane, but I only have two tabs - a Keyboard tab and a Keyboard Shortcut tab. I have an Acer Aspire 3680 and have installed iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 and upgraded to 10.5.6 successfully, just so you know. Any help is greatly appreciated. kennydied23
I searched the forum (using the google search "site:insanelymac.com synaptics trackpad enabler") and after some research I landed at this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1011667 backed up my keyboard.prefpane and replaced it with the one in this post (the mediafire one). I also downloaded the synaptics trackpad enabler and installed that. Now I'm able to double-tap/click-and-drag and all that on the trackpad and I get a setting for the Trackpad in System Preferences. Hope this helps Edit: Don't forget to reboot!
