  1. Asus P5QC Bios

Please instruct me on how to do that because I am so lost right now...
  2. Well everybody, 10.5.7 is here. I'm going to wing it and upgrade via Apple software update and see what's up. Edit: It works, not sure what is different. Also, the powermanagement.bundle needs to be replaced again. This one works: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=126888
  3. Ok I believe I've found the thread. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1114896 Try the latest one. Edit: You may have to add the .kext extension to the folder. Edit #2: It may actually be this one, because after checking my history this is the last one I installed. And I installed it over the one above. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=80425 Edit #3: I apologize for all the edits. Here is a thread that should greatly help most Acer 3680 users along with this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...aded&start=
  4. Well after testing about a dozen different powermanagement.bundles, I found a thread (forget which, I'll probably find and post it later) that has a kext that is supposed to recognize most laptop batteries. I installed that and went to my Energy Saver preferences (it was actually the first time I'd done it that day) and it recognized I had a battery, so I unplugged and plugged back in my charger and, what do you know, the battery meter's there.
  5. I searched the forum (using the google search "site:insanelymac.com synaptics trackpad enabler") and after some research I landed at this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1011667 backed up my keyboard.prefpane and replaced it with the one in this post (the mediafire one). I also downloaded the synaptics trackpad enabler and installed that. Now I'm able to double-tap/click-and-drag and all that on the trackpad and I get a setting for the Trackpad in System Preferences. Hope this helps Edit: Don't forget to reboot!
  6. Good luck with that, I'd like to know how you do with the boot 132 install, because I may want to do that in the future. Oh, and I got the battery to show.
  7. ALPS Glidepad beta driver

Anyone with an Acer Aspire 3680 (or close) know how to install this properly?
  8. Just use osx86Tools or Kext Helper. But I've installed it and doesn't seem to work..
  9. I've been trying to get tapping on my Synaptics Touchpad, and have seen people talk about changing things in the mouse tab in the Keyboard and Mouse pane, but I only have two tabs - a Keyboard tab and a Keyboard Shortcut tab. I have an Acer Aspire 3680 and have installed iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 and upgraded to 10.5.6 successfully, just so you know. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  10. Thanks so much, your kexts have made my 3680 wifi work! I'm downloading updates as I type.
  11. Here is what Terminal says: Extension "com.apple.driver.ApplePCIConfigurator" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. Or maybe it's not working because I have an SDHC card...
