***Install retail 10.5.6 from dmg on hard drive?

I have a retail 10.5.6 as a dmg on a hard drive.

 

I'd like to try and install it to another blank hard drive

and try my luck at mac on pc.

 

Is there a tutorial on how to install using a dmg file on disk?

 

I'm a newbie so I might need some detail on how to

do this.

 

Do I need some sort of cd boot image to begin the install

and where do I get it? Can you link me to it?

That sounds pretty tough, since u r a n00b, you might wanna try a distro 1st. i.e.: go to the green demon and look for 'iatkos'.

Well if I had a OS X img. I would have to format the drive.. not ntfs or fat32 lol. Useing a OS X DVD and boot that and use Disk utility to restore the IMG. But if you got this far you might as well just FRESH install. But SEARCH they have some GREAT info here.
