jeffzoom
I got Macintosh booted ok, but here is the problem i run into...i cannot boot back into windows. When i turn my machine on, it says that it is trying to bott from the cd....ok...normal..mostly it just goes on to the hardrive, but now, it gives me the error message and demands the install dvd, i put it in, and all is well, i boot into osx, there is not option anywhere to geto windows. I get to darwin, and all there is is the boot into mac option. PLZ HELP. Also, my ethernet is working, but i have no ethernet in my room, and the wireless dongle i have does not work, so is there a way to share the internet connection coming into my laptop over wifi (windows) and connect it the the tower (osx) over ethernet? Jeezoflip
Yo need to get a boot loader. Try GRUB. Its a linux boot loader, but they have it for windows as well. It lets you choose at startup what partition you want to boot. You can also try adding a line to the windows boot.ini file. jeffzoom
may i ask what that line is? I really don't have the time for a reinstall right now, all i wanted to do was see if i liked mac enough to sell my current laptop and wait for the Macbooks, as far as grub goes, i like it, just not enough to suffer through the ubuntu install.
