Cooknn
I think I'm going to get one of these cards and would like to know if I should get the PCI or AGP version. TIA. codo
you have an agp board...so take the agp version. i have it here, too and patched her up to 9600 (not the speed at all) and 85hz native refreshrate. so u have a cheap, working ati card.. codo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16105-ati-radeon-9550-pci-or-agp/#findComment-103615 Share on other sites
Cooknn
Well, this didn't turn out quite like I expected. I thought since it was in the HCL I could easilly get this thing to work the way I wanted. To no avail. I'm actually pretty happy with my nVidia card now after that ordeal. I'll just patiently wait for MacVidia to do their magic Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16105-ati-radeon-9550-pci-or-agp/#findComment-103625 Share on other sites
Yossarian
Is there a link to instructions on flashing the 9550 to 9600? I've known about people doing this for a while but never found out how. What are the benefits? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16105-ati-radeon-9550-pci-or-agp/#findComment-103658 Share on other sites
