OSXtotheZ
When people have 1000-1200 and want hackintosh laptop. I get kind of puzzled. Whats the argument for this? What deficiencies does a 999 macbook have vs its PC equivalent at that price point. For me a 399 or 429 hackbook that can perform as an entry level Macbook makes a case for itself, but once you get past $800 mark I'd start to consider a refurb macbook. I love my hacks but there is substantial value in the 100% hassle free experience that is genuine Apple. Last time I checked DealMac they had Refurbished Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz 13" Laptop for $580 + free shipping. I guess screen size might be a deal breaker for some but maybe some people just don't know these are available???
