This is probably a pretty easy question to answer. Please excuse my poor terminology. :censored2:

I have a 750 GB harddrive that I installed the Vanilla kernel on, partitioning the drive on the GUID table so I can dual boot with XP. OS X is working great, and I've solved most of the minor problems I've run into.

Then, I went to install XP on the other partition. I popped in the XP Pro disc and went into setup. I received an error, and realized I had to change my harddrive bios from AHCI mode (which allows me to run OS X) to SATA/IDE mode. Next, I started Windows setup again error-free. I get to the partitioning part of the setup, and it does not show that my harddrive has been partitioned.

So, my questions are:

How do I run Windows Setup in AHCI mode?

and

Why does setup not recognize that my harddrive is partitioned?

Thanks!

I believe while you are booting the XP install cd there is an option to hit F6 to install your drivers. You will need to put the driver disk in, you will need a disk drive or try to install the drivers after install of XP. I am still working on trying to install the driver after install but has not worked for me so far.
