  2. I finally got this to work. I re-applied Zenith432 patch deleted the instance I created earlier and created a new instance added the Core i7 patch to the config file and was good to go. I ran into a kernel panic once the software finished installing, i had the OS restarted and was greeted with the Initial setup wizard. Thanks Zenith432 for your patch.
  3. I am having the same Issue with the same setup. I have attached the log and config file. Not sure what to try next. Mac_OS_X_Server_10.6_64_bit.txt vmware.txt
  4. XP Partition not recognized

I installed the new Chameleon RC2 and it recognized my XP partition. Now I have a different problem hal.dll is corrupt or missing. Oh well will give me an oppurtunity to reinstall with the AHCI drivers for my SATA controller.
  5. XP Partition not recognized

I am using the Darwin Bootloader but it has not reckognize my XP partition. Is there some setting I need to Change to make the Bootloader reckognize the partition that was put on after the install of Chameleon, or shoudl I just reinstall Chameleon.
  6. I have successfully installed Leopard via Retail DVD. I have one drive and had to repartition using GPT (GUID Partition Table) to get this to work losing my current XP installation in the process. I made 4 Partitions as follows: 1 HFS LEOPARD INSTALATION 2 WIN XP 3 FREE SPACE (FORMATED FAT32) 4. MAC OS INSTALL DVD (RESTORED TO PARTITION FOR QUICK INSTALL) I have my XP partition backed up using Paragon Drive Backup. So I restored it to the second partition. When I reboot Chameleon DFE Does not list my XP partition. Do I have to change some setting or is there a step I am missing to ensure my XP partition get listed in Chameleon.
  7. OS X + XP Dual Boot Question

I believe while you are booting the XP install cd there is an option to hit F6 to install your drivers. You will need to put the driver disk in, you will need a disk drive or try to install the drivers after install of XP. I am still working on trying to install the driver after install but has not worked for me so far.
  8. [How to] Intel GMA 900 done right: full QE/CI for leopard

I am trying to use the 132 Booth method to install retail DVD on a T43. I have added the ElliottAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext to my Extra/Extension folder on the initrd.img, I did not add the AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext as it seems to be the same version I have on the CD. All I see after boot up of the DVD is a blue screen. I have tried the pin method same blue screen, the external monitor with the resolution set to 1024X768 but the monitor complains that the resolution is set to high, and images are extremly fuzzy. You mention in your post I have to load 3 dependencies of AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext what would those be. I have the following files in my Extra/Extensions folder: AppleAC97Audio.kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext AppleAHCIPort.kext AppleAPIC.kext AppleAzaliaAudio.kext AppleGenericPCATA.kext AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext AppleNForceATA.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext AppleSMBIOS.kext AppleVIAATA.kext Disabler.kext dsmos.kext IOATAFamily.kext ElliottAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext
  9. If your DVD is gray it is not a retail DVD.
