christina Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Hello , I've managed to install iDeneb onto dv7-1179er laptop but i've got few problems : USB Ports aren't working (I've tried USBIOFix already , still , no good) Audio isn't working (I've tried using AppleAzaliaAudio kext) Wireless isn't working as well , but I know that there are no drivers capable with Intel WiFi Link 5100 so I guess I'll have to let it go Everything else works perfectly well : Video - NVdarwin 256 Kernell - Voodoo 9.5.0 Ethernet - Broadcom Drivers (en0) Seatbelt Fix Can someone help me to solve those damn usb and sound problems? lukamar Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 HI!!! You must use IDT for audio. For usb, have you installed a pkg for ethernet from realtek? If yes, that's the problem, remove it. christina Posted April 4, 2009 Author Share Posted April 4, 2009 Thanks for help. I'm still struggling to get USB to work. I didn't use Relatek ethernet drivers , I've used broadcom drivers (en0) and they work quite well. Anyone has any ideas about getting it to work ? Use search for IDT, is near the insanelymac logo on the top Try to remove broadcom ethernet driver to fix usb, the ethernet should works anyway.
