A while ago, I had 10.5.2 installed with no hardware acceleration from my 4870 (drivers were not available) so I gave up and erased the partition. Now, it seems the drivers are available and I can get what I want. However, I can't remember how I got the first bit to work. I have: ASUS P5Q-Deluxe AMD ATi 4870 512MB PCI-e 120GB on a partitioned drive available A Kalyway 10.5.5 OSx86 Disc I flashed the motherboard BIOS back when I did the first installation so I still have that. I installed OS X to the partition and it installed just fine, but when I go to boot up into OSX I get the apple logo with the thinking circle and then a little logo pops up that looks like a no smoking sign without the cigarette.
