NoSmokingBandit
I plan on building a core2quad rig to replace my core2duo setup. The cpu i am considering is the Q6600 unless someone can point me toward a cpu with a better performance/price ratio. Other than that, all i know i want is 8gb ram. My current video card is a 8600gt, so i'd like to go with something better than that and im not opposed to ati, so whatever is the most cost efficient. Im not sure where to start with a mobo, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks! The Gigabyte boards come strongly recommended, i.e. the EP45T or similar. Q6600 is a good chip, good bang for buck.
