Hi,

My hardware is:

ECS P4XASD2+

2.4GhZ P4 Northbridge

64mb geforce 4

1 Gig of ram

200gb IDE Maxtor HDD

---

I've tried tons of different distributions (Kalyway, iPC, iATKOS) and they all give me the same error.

localhost kextd[47]: can't add repository (not a directory).

Resetting IOCatalogue.

localhost kextd[47]: root filesystem is read-only; skipping kernal link data generation

---

I've tried moving my ide dvd drive and hard drive around (master to slave, etc.) with no luck.

It will bring me to the Select a destination screen, but I have no destinations to choose.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

can you boot the installation disk ?

if so please use the diskutility to format your hard disk to a file system you can install to (hfs or hfs+)

also select the partitioning cheme (mbr or guid) that you need

Hi,

I've tried installing IPC Leopard 10.5.6 but just before the installation finishes, i get:

Mac OSX could not be installed on your computer.

The following install step failed: run preinstall script for 920SpeedSteapKernel

---

I've also tried iATKOS and it seems to install properly but on the boot up, it just restarts the computer after I press enter.

Appreciate the help and would love to get this going. Thanks
