Kalyway 10.5.2 not starting

I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 with absolutely no problems.

 

I removed the install DVD and attempted to boot

 

Starts to boot, gets to the gray Apple screen and hangs there. No icons on screen,

no cursor, and no keyboard and mouse.

 

Following is my system config:

 

Asus P5Q3 Deluxe – WIFI – AP@N – Motherboard

G.Skill DDR3 -1333 PC3-10600 – Memory

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 - CPU

GeForce 9800 – GPU

USB keyboard and mouse

Serial ATA hard drive.

Serial ATA DVD drive

 

Tried -x -f and got text with no errors and hangs.

 

Any suggestions?
