Something strange is happening when I shut down, the system just hangs and doesn't close down. The monitor goes black with a message saying: No video input, as if the PC was shut down properly. Only problem is that the system is still running and I have no idea where it hangs up?

I have to push the button to shut down manually every time.

i have the same problem. thing is. it shuts down but in the "old" windows95 style, when u had that message: u can now safely power off the computer. it has something to do with nvidia cards(mine is 9400gt) because when i unplug it and work only on gma950(integrated) the system shuts down normally.

i don't really know why this is happening and will be happy for any help

thanks
