Random_hero
I once had 10.4.2 (?) and 10.4.4 installed although .4 worked better, it was pretty slow on my computer (slow mouse movement, latency when typing etc.) so I deinstalled OsX. But I occasionally check for OSx86 news and I've read some positive stories about 10.4.6. Is it worth a try to install 10.4.6? Are there some perfomance improvements? Or isn't it worth a try? RyanThaDude29
FWIW, I'm using 10.4.5 with few problems but overall very functional. Can't for the life of me get .6 to boot. TopazBar
If u had issues with 10.4.4, u will have same issues with 10.4.6 (higher revision number = Mac OS X is getting pickier about hardware platform). Also FYI, .5 and .6 are updates to 10.4.4 base system release. On the other hand, if u r bored to death with too much time on your hands, pick up JaS' or Myzar's 10.4.6 bootable DVD from p***** bay and test out your metal.
