How to install iLife09 without having 10.5.6

Take and mount the ilife dmg and copy the Ilife09 package to your harddrive, right click, show package contents

 

Open the contents folder you will see a file called Distribution.dist

 

right click open with (and select text edit) take and replace 10.5.6 with (your version, mine being 10.5.5) i think i did it a total of 3 or 4 times, then save the file

 

once saved, run the ilife installer, you should have no problem, this also works with iwork as well

Si vous n'avez pas envie de mettre a jour votre system en 10.5.6

 

Voilà ce qu'il faut faire pour installer Ilife '09 sur les system 10.5.*

 

aller dans /system/bibliotheque/coreservices

 

placer le fichier systemversion.plist sur le bureau et modifiez le en changeant les 10.5.* en 10.5.6 et sauvegarder et replacez le en modifiant les droits

 

Voilà vous pouvez maintenant installer Ilife '09

I'm unable to save the file.

 

I did what you said (with some minor changes... I had to launch the DMG file and then right-click on the iLife '09 icon in order to show package contents). But when I go to save, it says: The document "Distribution.dist" could not be saved.
