Colonel Posted April 22, 2006 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Things like Java, iTunes, Quicktime, etc. will not destroy your OSx86 machine. You can update those through the software update and will be okay. The things you DON'T want to update are OS upgrades. For you, this would me a download like 10.4.7 will be. Don't install these updates without a patch. But, with the iTunes and Java updates, they should be okay to install through software update.
