Scottapotamas
Ok... Will help soon... EDIT: You could try a distro like kalyway, iDeneb, iAtkos, iPC, Leo4All or another, and put it in and hopefully, have a fully working system... Just like that... That would be a better starting point. BUT if you are feeling confident... I suggest a retail install... So that means preferably purchasing a retail copy of leopard or downloading one! That will make it much more like a mac, updates etc, but is more work to get going... So... To install from a retail disk... Find a BOOT-123 iso, like BOOT-KABYL-BUMBY.iso and burn onto a cd... insert cd Then when the loader comes up swap with a retail cd... Format drive to Mac Format (HSF+ Journaled) Install like normal... retail not needed now... (hopefully) Then if your retail disk was below 10.5.6 you need to update eg, software update or file from apple site. Reboot with cd, then it will reboot before loading. reboot again... Should be in mac desktop. Find UInstaller on net (~PCwiz) and Carmeleon DFE... Install the Charmeleon bootloader first then reboot in theory without CD. Once you got that, its smooth sailing from there...
