I've seen some great recommendations but all are for $600ish systems. I want something more powerful. Something closer to the newest MacPros or as close as $1,200 to $1,600 would get me.

Are there any motherboard/CPU combos that are more powerful that will work for OSX86 system? Also I want to get good RAM.

I'm not a gamer but I do HD video editing.
