engine_lfc Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Hello, i have OSX 10.4.5 install on my ASUS P5P800-SE Mainboard. I have a X800XT PE Graficcard ( 4A50 ). My Problem : I have install from a 10.4.5 DVD (Maxxuss Patched). All work fine but i have no QE and CI. Cold (Power ON) and HOT (Reset) start work without Problems- So i have apply a patch like this : http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=7579 Now i have QE and CI BUT : I i start my PC (cold start) OSX do not load completly (see Picture) That i make a reset (Press resett button) -> all work fine !!! So i can work many hours and i can make some restart´s. If i showdown the Mac OS (Power Off) a i try a new boot (power on) i have the same problem. belgrano Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Have you tried to repair the permision on the HDD, after you modified the ATI kext? You know, from Disc Utility...? Follow the instructions on this thread, if the patch doesn't work just follow the manual hexedit as explained somewhere in that same thread.
