Hi to everybody, this is extremely important for my hackintosh project

i have a pci sound blaster audigy 1394 (Sb0090) - it does have a 1394 port in the back (where you plug in the speakers) and one connector onboard (i can attach for example the 1394 front panel from my case).

two IMPORTANT QUESTIONS:

will it work with ideneb 10.5.6 using the kx audio drivers?

will i be able to use both firewire ports??

thanks

riccardo

You can get Audio from somewhere else working. Maybe your motherboard. Failing all else, you can get a USB Audio device. (They're cheap)

Both work now with the kX driver to the OP the second port should just work connected to the front as it does on my motherboard to front port, once the chip is seen by the OS the ports attached should be seen as well.
