Hi,

I've got an ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro running on ox86 10.4.5. Everything is working nicely at 1024x768. I'd like to run 1280x1024, although when I set "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32", it seems to run at a refresh rate too high for my LCD monitor.

Is there any way I can run at 1280x1024 on an LCD monitor with this card? Same thing happens on "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@60", etc. :D

Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Exact same problem with mine. I have an AIW 9600 XT, not the pro, though.

"Graphics Mode=1280x1024x32@60" won't do anything since it's recognized as a VESA 2 card. Changing refresh only works on VESA 3 AFAIK.

yup, if you only have a vesa 2.0 card you are stuck with 1024x768.. omni is releasing his driver and framebuffer and that will allow you to make res and refresh rate changes.. until then, patience :thumbsdown_anim:

but id rather have qe/ci as opposed to resolution preferences (i have an nvidia card.. :construction: )
