Hi,

I have a Presario F700 laptop that I want to run Leopard on. I've tried Leo4all and it works up to where you tell it what drive to install it to. What I want to know is if the installer works does that mean it will work on my computer? I want to know if I should buy an external drive or not.

Thanks in advance,

Rhapsody Man

I've tried installing to a partition on my main drive and Disk Utility sees all three of my partitions, but it can't mount them to reformat them. I has an input/output error. So far I've used Leo4all v3 with stopped with a waiting for root device and Leo4all v4 which works except for the mounting of drives.

The only thing I can think of to try is to copy the CD onto a spare partition and make a CD that would boot from that partition (the installer can install to the boot device :P ).

I got Leo4All V4 to install on an external HD by using a Bytecc USB 2.0 to IDE Drive Mate, but I can't get it to boot from it. I'm currently patching it for AMD so I can see if that will work.

Any suggestions??

I'm pretty new at this, so I don't know much. :)
