:(

i succeeded the installation but when i boot i see the apple logo and it just hangs there with that thing spinning and a stop sign comes up, any ideas? im using the iPC 10.5.6

I have the same problem but mine freezes before it is able to even come to the welcome screen. I pop the dvd in, let the boot screen come up then it hangs at the white logo.

this picture comes up before i can come to the installation screen. How can i apply the patches?

I'm using iPC_OSx86_10.5.6 burned onto a DVD+R

Can you link me to a tutorial on how to fix the problem?

Is there no way I can avoid patching the iso? Is there an iso that would work without any patches?

make sure you install a chipset driver when installing OSX in customize. whatever chipset you have select that

ok so i followed your directions and type upon bootup:

-v cpus=1

But then it hanged at this line:

Extension "com.apple.driver.iTunesPhoneDriver" has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0

Still waiting for root device

So... what exactly is going on Did i burn it wrong or perhaps the iso is corrupted?
