well111222 Posted February 24, 2009 Share Posted February 24, 2009 Everything works great on my current install. im at 10.5.5 and im using a acer laptop right now. Now i need to know if theres a painless way to move this install over to a 500 gb hdd. Will gparted( by far my preferred method) work by using the copy fuction and move it over to the new hard drive(i'll format it first with disk utility). Or can i use the restore option on my install dvd and restore from my current hard drive to my new one. If possible i do want to avoid having to re-install, but i understand that it might be needed.
