Attempting to install iATKOS Mac OSx86 Leopard 10.5.5 Intel. The installation went through fine, but attempts at booting just result in the "still waiting for root device error"

I have tried to fix this using all the steps on here:

Technical FAQ - OSx86

I have switched my two hard drives around turning drive 1 into drive 0, didnt help.

This is the other message I get:

waiting for boot volume with UUID 74FE264C-13DF-34B0-83CD-C43DA2bFDA73

waiting on <dict id="0"><key>IoProviderClass</key><StringID="1">10 Resources</string><key>10ResourceMatch</key><stringid="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>

I think its because of the bootloader looking in the wrong place for the OSX, but i dont know what to change.
