Hi all.

I recently installed the MacOSX 10.5.2 Kalyway on my Sony Vaio VGN-FW240J/H.

It works almost perfectly. I just can't boot into any of the partitions without the Kalyway DVD...

My partition setup is as follows:

1 - Page File for Windows Vista - NTFS

2 - Blank Partition as Linux Swap (Linux ended up not working whatsoever so this was left over)

3 - Extended Partition

------Windows Vista - NTFS

------MacOSX 10.5.2 - HFS+

4 - Data Partition - NTFS

I don't mind editing these partitions, I just can't edit the DATA partition or the Vista partition. I don't care about having to reinstall OSX.

I'm thinking of combining the Paging file partition and the linux swap partition, and just have extra space so I can split the extended partition maybe? I just don't know how to do this.

Mainly, I need a bootloader. That's really it. I just don't know WHERE to download one and install it.

Note: Linux does NOT work on my Laptop, Mac does tho!!!

If I am reading this right, what you need to do, when you are in the install program, is to select Disk Utility, then select the main drive (not the partitions) and erase the entire drive. THIS WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR OLD DATA! However it sounds like you do not want that data anyway.

The you will install and have one partition with all of the space available to you.

Did I understand this correctly?
