Flashlab
The latest iTunes makes my mouse pointer stutter. When I move it around it seems to hang my system for a few moments. It keeps doing this while iTunes runs; when I stop iTunes the problem is gone. This is on a fresh install of iPC 10.5.6 with P5W DH Deluxe. The version of iTunes that comes with it doesn't have the problem only the latest download version (8.0.2). Anyone know what could be going on here? wjbnyc
Same for me. iTunes 8.0.2 OS X 10.5.6 Asus P5W DH Delux I first noticed music videos playing in iTunes were not smooth. They would look jerky. Then i noticed even my mouse would stick when moving. If i quit iTunes everything goes back to normal. all 4 cpu cores are under 5% while this is going on. I'm hoping some one knows whats going on. Shadow_2k
This behavior is caused by QuickTime 7.6 and affects some series of nVidia cards that suppoert HDCP via DVI. Read these threads and use the workaround that suites you most: temp solution 1: QuickTime downgrade to 7.55 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=142056 temp solution 2 & 3: delete HDCP kext / or reflash graphics card with a bios that doesn't support HDCP via DVI. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=148843 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/154444-latest-itunes-make-my-mouse-pointer-stutter/#findComment-1089530 Share on other sites
