tackle
Like the topic says, I wonder if anyone has their sample libraries placed on a NTFS volume and then play back on your DAW in OSX. For example, something like drumkit from hell. The benefit would be that you can use it both in windows and OSX. What I'm not sure about though, is if there's any performance decrease using this method. I have actually tried this with drumkit from hell superior 2.0, and it seemed kind of slow, but I'm not sure if that was the cause or if something else was the culprit. gteles
If you use ntfs you "can't save files" in that disc...

andrw
I have all my samples (350GB) located under a NTFS drive. At first, when started to use Logic, i had some problems, like i could not edit them and stuff.. kept getting permission errors and stuff, but then, i installed something called NTFS-3G, and it's working smooth since then. I suggest you try that, if you haven't already. Cheers
JustinAiken
I have Paragon NTFS installed, and BFD2 and Kontakt work just fine... but I don't have say, a whole orchestra streaming at once, usually just a few...
