khaled_acmilan Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 Hi guys, Tonight after I deleted my Windows partition to install vista on it,after I tried to do that with bootcamp but bootcamp show me this message "Startup disk cannot partitioned...etc" and then I went to boot my original DVD "Leopard OS X" to make repair for my Macintosh HD,unfortunately I found it disk0s1 and it unmounted and there isn't any data to identefy so I tried to make repaird permissions or verify disk but nothing works and this message appear for me when i tried to repair or verify it:- "Invalid BS_jmpboot in boot disk block:000000 Error:-File system verify or repair failed. Anyhelp will be appreciated,thank you guys and please help me. Khaled Try mounting it in Ubuntu for Mac. It sounds like either a CRC error of the boot sector or you dropped your mac. Let's hope this is not the latter case! Again NEVER use Windows!!! It breaks things!
