figtab Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I installed ipc 10.5.6 on my laptop which is a Gateway E 475M and i selected the packages for the GMAX3100 and for the audio, lan and i finished the instalation and i let it boot up and at first i get the apple logo and its spining then i get a blue screen and it looks like im gonna get the welcom screen then all of a sudden i get a black screen with the mouse. i can move the mouse and the mose spins off and on. Next time it will start without type -x Greetz Thanks! i put it in safe mode and i could get to the welcome screen and type my info but after 1 min the screen turned black pure black no mouse pointer or anything. any suggestions? I have installed Leo about 20 times, now it works but i don´t have networks so, i have to test again. Try try try My chipset is the intel 965 chipset and my gfx is the intel gmax3100 both are supported by osx. i dont understand why i get to the welcome screen then after a minute it goes black. Danish Translation StageXNU kernel Intel GMAX3100 Intel ICHx SATA drivers Ralink RT2860 wireless PS/2 Keyboard fix SMBIOS 667 and some apps First boot was with -f flag First boot black screen with a spinning circle now and then. It boots fine to Safe Mode, where I can make configurations. Next boots without any flags shows black screen with a mouse cursor which I can move but now no spinning circle... Hope that anyone has a solution for this.
