Ministorm
So far most of my problems has been solved throughout the forum but this one I couldn't find a solution for. Basically when I open anything it works like a charm. All up until I move the window or scroll though it (IE. a webpage). After I move it, the window becomes for lack of a better word...funky. I can't see any part of the window unless I modify it (IE highlight over a changing button, select a text box, etc.). In other posts, it is described as a window redraw problem. The problem started as soon as I installed it. In other words, it didn;t just start happening after I installed something. Specs: XFX Nvidia geforce 9600gt - 512 mb Pentium 4 HT (Socket 478) 2.8 ghz 2gb ram Biostar P4M900-M4 V6 (If you need anything more ask) iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 Kernal 9.2.0 speedstep (I think that's what it's called) Audio ALC861VD NVDarwin 512mb Installed manually: ViaRhine RTL8201CL Ethernet I'm fairly sure I posted this in the right forum. Sorry if I didn't. BTW thanks to all the other solutions posted on the forum! Ministorm
I guess it's like that. Theres no real way to describe what happens. Imagine looking at the window. When I move it to the top on the desktop, it's (for lack of a better description) the desktop upside down and backwards, but also glitchy...Sorry I can't describe it any better than that. EDIT: Driver didn't work. Still the same problem. Anyone else have any other ideas? The problem for me is that I use windows too, and I need to game at settings. I guess I will wait until Snow leopard to utilize my GTX 260 or wait for a even slightly working driver Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153608-graphics-problems/#findComment-1084914 Share on other sites

flock44
Did anyone of you guys tried UInstaller by PCWIZ? I know they haven't added nVidia 9600gt in the Drop list of supported Graphic cards but in the same Drop List there is "Custom Video Card" Option at the very bottom of list where u can simply mention your Graphic Card info n hit Apply. Eg: "nVidia GeForce 9600 gt" once you enter this and hit enter you ll be asked the memory of your card........ Enter whtevr applies like 512mb or 1gb once done Click on Apply & Reboot. Give it a Try it works for sure.... You can get UInstaller here. http://######.com/index.php?option=...9&Itemid=48 Good Luck..! Donw35
at boot try this, hit f8 -x "Graphics Mode"="1600X1024@32" just change "1600x1024@32" to what ever mode you want if that works you can add it to the com.apple.boot.Plist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153608-graphics-problems/#findComment-1085871 Share on other sites
Ministorm
@flock44 - Tried it...didn't work. @Donw35 - I'd like to not have to only have the option of safe boot. I'd rather just delete NVDAResman.kext. It would do the same thing without safe boot.
