JustinAiken
I've tried installing several times now, using nvdarwin, nvinject, nvkush, or no options... either way I always the the same thing - kernal panic when booting after the install completes. If I use -x then my monitor just turns off! If I watch in -v, it's right after something about starting oscbd (I forget the exact letters, but it start with a O) I've wiped the installation and tryed over and over, I just can't get Leopard to load! My specs are in my sig. Please help me!! JustinAiken
Okay, if I rm -rf nv*, ge*, and ati*, I can boot... but now of course I'm stuck with 1024x768 on one screen. Can anybody help me get the right graphics installed? Both the right kexts, and the right EFI strings? Selayan
Is the vodoo kerenl 9.5 the only one you can choose from this distro? JustinAiken
No, voodoo kernel 9.6 is installed by default if you don't choose anything else. Selayan
I installed 9.5 kernel (vodoo) and after restarting the pc quite a few times, or when I plugged in my flash drive, it gave me a kernel panic related to the vodoo 9.5 kernel so I guess I can try and reinstall with 9.6? I noticed that the USB ports don't work on any distro's except for Kalyway.
