Windows RG Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 so finally its possible to do this. everything is supported except pc cards, the modem, and wireless. wireless is no big issue because you can pop another one in as it has two mini pc clots. ill probrably be updating this with a guide but man this thing runs fast. Windows RG Posted February 15, 2009 Author Share Posted February 15, 2009 i used IPC 10.5.6 with PPF5. yes qe/ci as well as QEGL. the only drivers that work for this card are NVDarwin. NVkush does not see the model number and reports it as 256mb and NVinject does not enable QE/CI. im going to work on correct EFI strings for the card and hopefully we wont need drivers at all. I have tried everything I could to get the sound working on my P-6831 FX laptop. Right now I'm running iDeneb v1.4 OSX 10.5.6. Before I was running iATKOS 10.5.4 and later updated to 10.5.5. I tried AppleHDA and several other tweaks but nothing worked. I'm on a P-7805u (slightly newer I guess) and I've tried everything... the closest I came was for the devices to show up (Line Out, Built-In Speakers, Built-in Mic etc.) but nothing came out except for horrible static.
