I was using NeoOffice 2.1 Intel but that program is much larger (more like replacement for Microsoft Office) and took much longer to load. AbiWord Universal loads in couple seconds (!) I've used AbiWord in Windows and Linux and liked those versions. I'm making this my default Application for opening and editing Microsoft Word documents. When I install and try to launch this build of AbiWord, I get an error message that reads: “AbiWord.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. I'm on a Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon,running OS X 10.8.3 Would love to get this working so I can open some old AbiWord files.
