mmarshall13098 Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 running Kalyway 10.5.2 with an EVGA 9800GTX 512 (hardware accelerated with QE by loading aqua-macs kexts and GFX string) but system profiler is only reporting 256 meg of VRAM. I thought I had seen this topic here but cannot find it. any ideas guys?? thanks... Dr. Hurt Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Just a cosmetic problem. OS X will actually use all available VRAM of the card. My GMA950 has 244MB shared memory, but OS X reports it as 64MB only. It does however use all 244MB.
