A new HDA driver has been released by the Voodoo team. It is working on my Wind. I'm still testing it but it looks good.

No Mic on Wind, SRS iWOW crash´s iTunes with this Driver

The audio inputs controlled by the Voodoo driver appear to have problems. If AppleHDA could be made to work it would be the best for compatibility. I just don't know how much effort it would take to get it working on the Wind. I will continue to give attention to this situation.

This is awesome, this is the first driver that allowed me to get all my speakers working. I followed macgirl's guide with Soundflower and AU Lab and now my Y510's bass is working :censored2:!

No luck on microphone input yet, and I wish I didn't need AU Lab running all the time, but this is a HUGE step.

On my Wind with the Voodoo HDA driver, the internal mic and the external input were both passing audio to the speakers but not to the internal HDA. I could not record from either input and reports are it does not work with Skype.

OK I have everything on my MSI Wind working but every time I reboot or wake from sleep or hibernation the settings are gone and have to be entered again. Is there a way to save these settings? Can it be hard coded. It is truly annoying having to do this every time I boot.

Voodoo is not an option for a pure vanilla install, since it needs to be installed in S/L/E/, and is OFF TOPIC. Please keep the thread to the original patch in the first post.

@ joelw135 please clarify the build you are using.
