Cannibul
I would go with a Intel MB and CPU. I just built a screaming Hack on a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard. Okey, thanks a lot.! Whick version of Leopard have you downloaded and installed? Does everything work? Sound, network etc.? Will my Radeon 1900XT work? Donw35
or Go on ebay, buy an HP DC7700 or DC7800, get a geforce 8500gt or 9800gt and get a copy of iDeneb 10.5.6 V14 An almost 100% work hackintosh, no mic input but a simple workaround (logitech USB Mic). I found a HP DC7700 on ebay for $125, 1.83 Core 2 duo, 2gig ram, 80gig hard disk. I have a 8500GT laying around and installed it. boot the iDeneb DVD and choose the drivers and the machine booted up like a real mac. no patching or fixing. flock44
Well u are using AMD... doesnt mean u shud go for Intel Mobo just to install Leopard. Here is the simple solution. u can keep all the components from ur config n save some $$$So first Find iPC OSx Release. this will install flawlessly on ur AMD Machine. Its most advanced release ever from other Leopard Install's out there. And all ur config is well n good. Just Replace IDE DVD Drive with SATA one & Get yourself a Graphic card... M not aware if nVidia works on AMD build BUT ATI Does so go for it.Well that is all u need. Just a SATA DVD Drive and a Video card. + iPC OSX Leopard release. If you still want to buy a Intel Mobo/Processor. Just go with Leopard Retail DVD.Good Luck... flock44
Yes, Your Graphic card is supported. Though IPC Release has all these drivers u can also use EitherOSX86 tools or UInstaller... once u get one of those tools (Google it) just look for option:"Apple kexts for Video card"(in UInstaller) OR "GFX Strings" (in OSX86 tools) and jus beside tht there's a Drop Down list in there its 7th option for your card. Select that n Hit Install....And SATA DVD will b ur Saviour... Honestly i dont know which version will b best. coz u can see my sign i used Retail Leopard DVD.Good Luck...
