michaela086 Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 After 8 hours of installs i finally got my new HP G60-235DX working installed with iPC 10.5.6 Final Release Install iPC osx86 10.5.6 Base System under "Drivers" install "intel ICHx SATA Drivers" under "fixes and patches" install "PS/2 Device Support", both keyboard and mouse fix you dont need to install anything else to get OSX to boot once you have got it to boot install osx86 Tools download it here http://www.mediafire.com/?zgamzqumzd5 unzip and copy that to your computer now download the audio kext files http://www.mediafire.com/?hmmrdmwmyuy unzip those to your computer click install kext and install one at a time the 2 kext that you unzipped, you must restart the machine after each install, once you have it installed you can go to the system preferences and sound, and change it to internal speakers and boom, there you go microphone works, internal and digital out work, mute does not but who cares GMA 4500MHD is the video, and from what i found there is no support, but hopefully in the future wireless is basically the same problem Atheros 5007 wireless LAN (AR2425 chips) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152335-hp-g60-235dx-works/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've installed a working OS 10.5.6 on a HP G60-230US but I can't use my keyboard/mouse (unless I plug USB versions in) and I can't get wireless to work. Any help you have would be great - Thanks. If i leave it sitting, the monitor will shut down and never start back up again.
