brianbwlim Posted April 17, 2006 Share Posted April 17, 2006 After V1, stuck at blue screen. Over-updated V3, same stuck. Extensions copy from 10.4.4, the same stuck. Why there is no readme file in Update Package. Does it mean that just updating without any care is OK? Anybody has this problem? Somebody has remedy to this? The Myzar V3 Update failed with an error and suggestion to reapply the update. No apps would work. On reboot just a blue screen, no cursor movement, then alternative blue screen/black screen of a several secs each. Update prebinding etc - no change. Original system 10.4.5 (myzar) with sec update 1. No probs booting in -s mode. What has this patch changed? Any suggestions? Thanks. 915-m5 mb. Pentium 4 sse3. non-nx. When booting verbose - its says a lot of time that Login Windows Application has started and does nothing. I've even gone so far as to download JaS's 10.4.6 Install DVD and preformed an "upgrade" to the non-booting hard drive, I was hoping it would simply over write the bad bits with some good ones but alas no joy. Perhaps I'll try a prebind tonight see what happens, if all else fails I'll start over Bummer! I've invested a lot of time in getting the OS and apps just the way I liked them. Yepp, same here...
