tehsusenoh
I am currently trying to run iPC in VMWare while I wait for my hard drive to arrive. I found a thread here that described the settings when installing. But when I boot the actual DVD, I get this error: Here is the thread I found: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=151244 I've tried -v, -v -f, -v -x, -v -x -f, -x -f, -x, and -f. Any thoughts? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152042-virtualizing-ipc/ Share on other sites

tehsusenoh
Well, I already have a working Leopard install from a retail image (no DL drive to burn it though ) I just wanted to try to boot the iPC dvd and practice choosing the correct packages and practice the correct dual boot sequence. davek82
I just managed to install Mac OS X86 iPC 10.5.6 via VMWare. I also had this problem.. You have selected the wrong kernel. Try to use 9.2.0 Netkas Sleep Kernel.. Good Luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152042-virtualizing-ipc/#findComment-1404227 Share on other sites
