WindowsXP
Hey guys, i've been thinking about installing Leopard. So is my computer compatable? Intel Core Quad Q6600 4GB Ram Gigabyte Ep35-ds3l 8600gt (I'm not quite sure, is this fully compatable?) If everything is compatable, what "Distro" Or "Hacked" Version of the Latest Leopard should i go for? And can i Dual boot this with a Already Exisiting Partion of Windows Vista? Thanks alot guys! SoundBlaster
Sorry for my English. In Windows You can make a new partition for Mac with Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director. Format this partition to Linux swap, example. After that make this partition to type "ShagOS swap" - (code AF.. may be) Apply your changes. Then reboot and insert distr. like this - iPC or iDeneb or another where you can choose a bootloader type (look description). After the loading a installation program. Go to Menu->Utilities->Disk Utilities Choose your partition for Mac. Go to Erase. Choose MacOS Extended (Journaling). Erase. Close a Disk Util. Next. Choose a partition (you will not have a choose ))). Next. Choose "Customise" Make a flag in the list near "Chamelion" or somethng like this (not a defaut bootloader). Chose another drivers. Next. Install. Reboot. You have bootloader menu. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151798-where-to-start/#findComment-1072419 Share on other sites

SoundBlaster
You can. Install is very easy. If you will install Mac to clear HDD - don't warry. If you have a data in your PC - back up it. You must only choose drivers for your devices, before click last button "Install".
