torrentmasta
I recently installed iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 on my AAO. It installed without any problems but when i t to boot it up it would exit quickly and reboot. So I tried using the mach_kernel from the install DVD to run the installation which worked fine using these commands hd(16,1)/mach_kernel -v rd=disk0s3 this loads perfectly everytime. I then had to replace the kernel on the HDD to the one from the DVD which works. So I changed the kernel on the HDD to the one from the DVD. But it still doesnt work. It keeps saying: waiting for root device If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. the HDD has three partitions, 6gb, 50.5gb, 50.5gb on a MBR partition scheme. I have an external HDD that works fine, but wwanted it to be on the internal (the external is GUID) please help???? UnaClocker
http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14 <--- Best place to get answers. I'd guess you'll need to reinstall completely, you're putting way too much HACK into your hackintosh..
