Hi guys, i'm new here, i just didn't know what to do anymore.

I installed JaS OSX 10.5.4, succesfully on my pc, but after installation i had to restart the computer,

it asks if i want to boot from the dvd, which i don't, so i wait, i see the screen with the loading slash symbol: \

2 seconds later my pc restarts!

and it keeps on repeating this cycle.

I was thinking maybe it's the dvd that's causing this, so i removed it, and when i restarted the pc again,

this appears: "boot 1: error" and then it's stuck. :(

So with or without the dvd, my osx won't load!

please help?

didn't work :) if i select advanced installation, and select some drivers, it won't install properly.

but when i just click install, without changing anything, then it goes just fine (and then the problem of restarting follows..)

*desperate*

I'm thinking that when your machine begins to boot, it detects a hardware to software clash and causes what is known as a 'kernel panic'. In your case this kernel panic is causing your computer to reboot. As has already been mentioned, you need to investigate the computer hardware in your computer, type of CPU, motherboard description, hard drive types, DVD drives, sound card, network card type. These all make a huge significance in what options you chose from the install package. Your choosing the wrong one and when your computer tries to communicate with the hardware, it crashes and causes a reboot.
